It was a normal, sunny, spring morning around the town of New York. A tall, skinny brunette stood at the counter of the coffee shop, just about going insane with what she would pick for her daily caffine fix. A chai latte? Too prep. A black cup of coffee? Too loner. A cappachino? Hmm, now there was something her image wouldn't suffer from and her stomach agreed with. She suddenly was overwhelmed with a feeling-stupid moment and she plunked down her American Express anyways to pay for her cappachino. The cute cashier set it down and winked at her, causing Sam to place a ten on the counter, ridiculously tipping him basically for how cute he was. She walked over to a booth and sat down with her coffee, pulling out her Palm and looking over her agenda and texts. Setting it down on the table, she smoothed her shrunken cashmere cardigan and blue lace cami, checking her super skinny, super tight jeans to make sure she didn't have a single spot. Deeming herself good, she sat back and stared out the window, hoping that someone might stumble along.

Mark let out a large yawn as he walked up the sidewalk towards the small coffee shop. He ran a hand through his hair messing it up a bit but his smoothed it right back into place. He was tired and needed his caffine wake up call like every morning. Usually he got some on the way to school or had his own ready at home but today not so much. He did not feel like fixing up anything being a bit of a lazy bum today but everyone had there day. He sighed as he entered the coffe shop walking up to the counter in his black pants and shirt over a white longsleeved shirt something he was rather comfortable in. He wore a silver necklace with a ring on him hidden underneath his shirt something he wore all the time but neglected to tell anyone the story behind it. He ordered a large cappuccino and paid for it quickly. Mark turned away from the counter his blue eyes falling upon a familiar face a smile spread across his face as he walked over and sat down at Samantha's table. "Hello Sam here for you're morning wake up?['b]" he asked before taking a sip of his coffe before setting it down on the table.

Sam continued checking her palm and making reminders for the day- what homework to think about, which clothes to iron, and which jewlery she had to find for various events. Her thoughts turned to a certain person, who she wondered about a lot more than usual lately and she thought about why. And as if her thoughts had conjured him up, there he was, asking her a charming question as always. And her smile betrayed her happiness, and she patted the booth seat beside her. "But of course Mark why would I be at a coffee shop otherwise. Have a sit with me. I'm quite bored with myself." she grinned at him flirtily and waited for his response, twirling a bit of her light brown hair around her finger as she did.

Mark heard her words and gave her a curious look he was already sitting was she blind. He shook his head softly she must be tired he would blame that for the time being for her lapse. "I'm already sitting...boy do you need your coffee." he said simply teasing her before her felt a small yawn come on but he let it pass taking another sip of the warm coffee letting it go down his throat liking the feeling. He definitely needed the wake up more then anything otherwise he would spend half the day yawning away and barely awake something he would prefer to avoid completely. "Bored and the day has hardly begun we must fix that." he said easily slipping into his charming demeanor something he did so easily with Sam lately. Mark had noticed it but done his best not to point it out or anything though he did find himself quite comfortable around Sam more then other girls he knew. He was not completely sure he was ready for a relationship after last years catastrophe but her ready needed to move on dweeling on the past was not going to do him any good but sometimes he could not help himself.

Sam giggled, sipping her coffee with charm. "Coffee is the only way to do it in the morning, Mark, you know that!! And besides, I meant stay with me. Not just sit." Sam laughed again and glanced at him, checking his physique at this time in the morning. Just as cute as it always was. "We must we must." Sam stared him straight in the eye, laughing. "Maybe I'll plan a pretty party! Wouldn't that be fun?" She asked him, hoping he'd say yes just so she'd have an excuse to spend a rediculous amount of time with him. "Or do you have a better idea?" She grinned at him, one eyebrow raised in a flirty way.

Mark crossed his arms across his chest smiling at her nodding his head at her. "I agree, Fine I guess I can stay with you." he said simply picking up his cup coffe and taking a small drink of it before setting it back on to the table in it's place. "A party? That sounds pretty cool actually. I'm totaly down for that. I say we do it" he said flashing her one of his charming smiles. It would definitely spice things up for him and make for a fun day spending time with Sam planning then a night of fun and friends what could be better. He really did not have a better idea because a party was a great idea and definitely a way to catch up with everyone he had not seen in awhile. "I like you idea the best Sam seriously we both know your the cenious between us." he said teasing knowing e was smart but flattery always did get you far in life and was fun to use on Sam.

"Aww why thank you. I love my ideas! And of course, you'd help invite-- the pretties and stuff? I don't know who all to invite!!!" Sam threw her head on her chin dramatically. She was loving the attention from him- he was a great guy, and she had never realized it until now.
