Congratulations! You've just been accepted into Halbrook high school! They have outstanding academic, sport and theater programs. They are heard of world wide and its not always easy to get in! You should be thrilled, right?
Well, maybe you should rethink this.
Sure, you come here and you are guaranteed a good education, not to mention that colleges go crazy to see the name of this high school on your list! But there's one thing they don't tell you until you get accepted, pay in full and you've moved in and started classes...
Vampires. That's right. Everyone in this school is under one vampire or another's watch. They are the ones truly in charge, not the staff. The do as they please, feed as they please and torture as they please. They get what they want, when they want and there is no way around it.
Too bad your tuition is non refundable and your parents will not want to lose the kind of money they paid for you to get in. And if you're in on a scholarship, your rents won't let you miss this "opportunity."
So, study hard and enjoy your time here. You're not going anywhere for a long, long time..
