hello miss, do you have the time? ive lost my watch, but i have my mind.
the petite girl slipped her phone out of her pocket and checked the time. still hours before she had to be home. the latte in her right hand was warming, yet every minute she sat there staring at it, it cooled until finally she figured it was cool enough to drink. of course her assumptions were wrong and her tongue ended up singed. she let it hang out f her mouth like a dog as she grumbled to herself. her day had been rather calming if not serene. she had hoped to hang out with taylor, but of course he had already made plans elsewhere. thinking about him made her frown. a very over-exaggerated clowny frown. she wished she could just tell him how she felt, but of course she was merely to afraid of what would end up of the situation. i mean, he was her best friend, as she was his, and if he didnt like her, the way she liked him, it could end up awkward. people trampled each other around her as she sat at the small round table. people were so mean at the mall, and she was clueless as to why. being here the hour that she had, the girl had barely spent more than fifteen dollars, which was something she could have been proud of considering she was a shop-o-holic.

banner credit to sandyrah ?! Mary walked along the path from the school feeling incredibly bored. She checked the time on her watch and concluded she had plenty of time. Alexandrica was out doing something and Marni was deciding which new hairstyle to try out so she was at a loss of something to do. Mary had decided that shopping would fill the time. She had to find her cousins birthday present so that had been her decision. Her converses squeaked as she walked along the floor and she got looks from a few people for no particular reason. A few boys looked her way which surprised the young girl, she wasn’t exactly dressed up. She smiled at them and then continued to walk. As she entered the mall her eyes spotted chessa and she smiled. “ches!” she said with a big grin walking towards her friend and sitting down opposite her. “hows your day been?” she asked interested. Mary had had a rather boring day and she just hoped her friends hadn’t been the same. Mary was glad to see her friend at the mall, she suddenly felt stupid for not thinking of Chessa when her boredom had first struck. Mary noticed the boys once more and this time they were glancing from one friend to another with interested eyes. Mary smiled once more but focused her attention on her friends, the guys seemed a little creepy.

hello miss, do you have the time? ive lost my watch, but i have my mind.
her latte sat in front of her as she starred at it. she had been studying the designs and patterns for a few moments now, an she was sure that if someone gave her a piece of paper, shed be able to draw it perfectly without looking at it. the familiar voice made her snap out of her thoughts and look up. "mary! hey." she said watching as the girl sat down and asked her how her day had been. chessa gave a small smile, and put on one of her best unhappy clown faces. "ehh, it was good at first. then taylor had to be lame and make plans." she said in a grump voice. "i mean, yeah, im aware that he has other friends, but its friday! friday used to be our day!" she let her words rumble in her head and then gave a small laugh, "wow, i sound so pathetic! like a love sick puppy or something, i seriously need to find a guy who is actually interested in me" she said as she looked over to where mary had glanced. a few boys were standing around, looking like delinquents, every once in a while they would turn there attention to mary and her, but she merely ignored them. "anyway, how was yours?" she asked curiously.

banner credit to sandyrah ?! Mary smiled at her friend but then began to listen as she spoke about her day. “same with lexi” she said about making plans on Friday. Lexi was Mary’s best friend and the girls usually spent Fridays together but apparently this Friday was an exception. “ah, you don’t” she said about the love sick puppy comment. “me too” she said with a light giggle. Mary was pretty sure her crush didn’t have the same feelings she did and that made her a little upset but she knew that if it wasn’t meant to be then obviously something better was going to come her way. “my day has been entirely unexciting” she said with a frown but it didn’t last long, the young girl never frowned for long. “but now it has gotten a lot better” she said with a smile to her friend. The two girls were like two peas in a pod, they were both giggly, bubbly and insanely sweet and that was what made both girls such a joy to be around.
